- He participated in six national and municipal scientific research projects, including ones from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission (Key research project) and Shanghai Jiao-tong University (Key research project).
- He has translated two monographs as the chief interpreter, published one monograph as the deputy editor, and contributed to eight books in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
- He once won Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award(Third degree) two times.
- He has engaged in plastic and cosmetic surgery for more than three decades since his graduation from Medical School in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine, especially in the field of clinical, scientific research and teaching of plastic surgery.
- He is proficient in facial aesthetics and lymphatic microsurgery.
- He is good at facial plastic surgery in the region of eyes, nose and ears, notably in rhinoplasty including nasal augmentation for saddle nose, correction of the deviated nose and cleft lip nasal deformities, blepharoplasty such as the “double eyelid” procedure, the lower eyelid cosmetic surgery and so on.
- In addition, he has also performed well in flap transfer for the repair of nasal defects, as well as in the management of scar deformity.
